PROBLEM
The finance department is responsible for checking electricity invoices for a mobile operator's base stations. With thousands of supply points, multiple suppliers, and no practical way to verify invoices against actual consumption, there was no way to catch unauthorized usage or faults.
SOLUTION
We built three BitSwan automated systems that work together:
The first reads the PDF invoices and identifies the billed consumption for each station. The second measures the actual power consumption of the equipment at each base station. The third compares the two datasets and detects anomalies.
