Fund net asset value calculation
Issue
The finance department has to calculate share values every month for the hundreds of funds it manages. It copies the input data from the company system by hand and relies on complex Excel models — each fund with its own unique model. The calculation is slow and error-prone, and it had stopped the company from being able to scale.
SOLUTION
BitSwan automated the entire process. The Excel model was converted into clean Python code. The workflow system calls BitSwan, passes in the parameters it needs, and BitSwan returns the share value to the internal system.
